⭐️Conformity and Deviance⭐️ 💥Conformity 🌟Robert Merton coined the term "conformity" to refer to the adoption of cultural objectives and the valid or accepted way of accomplishing them. 🌟Conformity is generally motivated by a need for safety within a group, usually one of comparable position, culture,age or religion. 💥Deviance 🌟 "Deviance"  is a behaviour that violates the standard of conduct or expectations or social norms of a group or society. 🌟 An individual deviates if he or she chooses an action that is not socially acceptable or that a majority does not favor.
