Talcott Parson provided the structural functional perspective towards the social change. He argued that as the change in external environment take place, social system move beyond the present state of equilibrium towards new form of equilibrium with more Adoptive Capacity through Structural differentiation and Integration through Value Generalization in Society.
Society adoption capacity (Basic need - Economy capacity) will increase which demand more Structural differentiation ( especially bodies for the work to execute) → value capability will be maintained throughout more value generalization ( Pattern Variables B) in Modern Industrial Society.
